routed through ﬁlter 1

llators 2, 3 and noise are

routed through ﬁlter 2. Fil-

ter 1 is panned hard left,

and ﬁlter 2 is panned hard

right. The depth of pan-

ning can be controlled via

Unison Pan Spread (Osc

Page).

> FILTER BALANCE

This balances the output levels of the two ﬁlters. The default setting is 12 o'clock (0).

In Serial 4 and Serial 6 modes, this means that the output of ﬁlter1 is routed through ﬁlter2,

and then to the ampliﬁer section. If ﬁlter balance is set to a negative value, then some of the

signal from ﬁlter1 (+ saturation) bypasses ﬁlter2 and the ouput of ﬁlter2 is also reduced. With

ﬁlter balance set to -64 only the output of ﬁlter1 (+ saturation) is audible. When positive values

are used, some of the mix signal bypasses ﬁlter1 and is sent directly into ﬁlter2, whilst the

output of ﬁlter1 is also reduced. With ﬁlter balance set to +63, ﬁlter1 is bypassed completely

and only the output of ﬁlter2 is audible

In Parallel and Split modes, Filter Balance simply balances the outputs of ﬁlter1 and ﬁlter2.
